What a finely conditioned (thanks to the winter program) group of athletes - complete with mascot. We had three beautiful days to play - below normal temps and no rain-outs!  |

After two games on the third day, several said "I'm tired, I have to work (what's that??), I have to play tonight, etc. and they left!" But 24 softball fanatics stayed to play their 7th game. That really mixed the players.  |

Many players said they enjoy playing with people from all conferences. I know I do! Thanks to everyone for participating.  |

| Speed merchants Nancy Anthony and Don Meli pinch ran often. Here Nancy scores the winning run against blue. The score was tied 7-7 going into the bottom of the 7th, when light hitting Owen Lee lead off with a single; Nancy pinch ran and scored the winning run on Jeff Klop's triple with two out.  |
